A: To get started, visit our website and go to the 'Join Us' page. Complete the registration form and upload the required documents. Our team will respond within 48 hours.

 

Q: What documents are required for onboarding?

A: You will need to upload your FSSAI license, GST certificate, bank account details, and owner details during the registration process.

 

Q: Is there an onboarding fee for Chikaafu?

A: Yes, Chikaafu charges a one-time onboarding fee of ₹999, which will be deducted from your first two weeks' sales on the Chikaafu platform, provided that the sales exceed ₹3000. You don't need to pay any upfront payment, and the fee will only be deducted once your restaurant starts receiving orders on the platform.

 

Q: How many packages does Chikaafu offer to restaurants, and how does Chikaafu earn from restaurants?

A: Chikaafu offers two packages:

• Low Commission Package
• Commission-Free Package

 

Q: How does the delivery partner fee work for the Commission-Free Package?

A: Restaurants pay ₹10 per kilometer for delivery partners, with a maximum cap of ₹100 per delivery. For example, if the delivery is 3 kilometers away, the cost is ₹30. Even for longer distances, the fee will not exceed ₹100.

 

Q: If a restaurant wants to opt for the Commission-Free Package from day one, what will be the total cost?

A: If you opt for the Commission-Free Package from day one, your total investment will be ₹1599. This covers the one-time onboarding fee and the Commission-Free Package for the first month. After the first month, you’ll pay just ₹999 per month, with no hidden costs or surprise fees.

 

Q: What are the delivery partner fee and commission rate for the Low Commission Package?

A: For the Low Commission Package, restaurants will share an 13% commission on every order with Chikaafu. Chikaafu will cover the delivery partner fee.

 

Q: What type of restaurants would benefit from the Low Commission Package?

A: The Low Commission Package is ideal for restaurants where most orders fall below ₹350. It helps such businesses maximize earnings without significantly impacting profits.

 

Q: What if our restaurant has higher average order values?

A: For restaurants with higher average order values, the Commission-Free Package might be more suitable. It allows you to retain more revenue per order and eliminates commission fees entirely.

 

Q: Is the Low Commission Package a good choice for small businesses?

A: Yes, the Low Commission Package is especially beneficial for small businesses aiming to maximize their profits. With a competitive 13% commission rate, it ensures that you retain more of your earnings from each order.

 

Q: What happens if a customer cancels an order?

A: If a customer cancels an order before it is prepared, you won't incur any loss. However, if the order has already been prepared, you will be fully compensated as per our cancellation policy. Plus, you'll receive the complete order amount as promised because we are committed to preventing food wastage. This ensures you don't miss out on your earnings while maintaining fairness and sustainability.

 

Q: Does Chikaafu have marketing tools to promote our restaurant?

A: Yes, Chikaafu provides marketing tools. You can promote your offers with a "Free Delivery" tag, which increases your visibility and customer attraction. You can also run ads on our platform.

 

Q: How and when will our restaurant receive payments?

A: Payments are transferred to your bank account on a weekly basis. You can track your earnings and payment history from your dashboard.

 

Q: Can we offer special discounts and promotions on Chikaafu?

A: Yes, you can promote your special offers and discounts on the Chikaafu platform. You can update your deals in the "Offers" section and get support from our marketing team.

 

Q: Can we view our restaurant's ratings and reviews?

A: Yes, you can view your restaurant's ratings and reviews on your dashboard. You can also reply to these reviews to improve customer feedback.

 

Q: How can we track our orders and deliveries?

A: You can track all your orders and deliveries in real-time from your restaurant dashboard on the Chikaafu platform.

 

Q: Is it mandatory for the restaurant to set a minimum order value?

A: Yes, restaurants need to set a minimum order value of ₹200. However, if you have opted for the Commission-Free Package, you can set the minimum order value as per your convenience.

 

Q: Can we schedule deliveries on Chikaafu?

A: No, scheduled deliveries are currently not possible on Chikaafu.

 

Q: Can we update our menu and prices on Chikaafu?

A: Yes, you can easily update your menu and prices through your restaurant dashboard or the Chikaafu Restaurant app.

A: Yes, you can access detailed performance reports, including order statistics, customer feedback, and financial summaries, from your restaurant dashboard.
